Devon Thompson
Transit Program Manager
Devon Thompson is the Transit Program Manager for BRITE Bus. Devon started at the CSPDC as an intern and returned upon graduating from the University of Virginia. In 2017, Devon transitioned over to the transit team. Devon is responsible for the management and oversight of contracted service provision of BRITE, as well as budget development, coordinating plans and studies, staffing the BRITE Transit Advisory Committee, and maintaining databases and reporting data.
Danielle Gannon
Transit Planner
Danielle Gannon joined the BRITE team in 2025, and oversees Afton Express and the RideShare program.
Jeannie Puffenbarger
Operations Supervisor
Jeannie is the face of BRITE and is well known in this service area. Jeannie started as a driver providing valuable service to many of our current clients. Promoted to her current position, she is the connection between management, drivers, and passengers, ensuring a smooth and seamless daily operation. A longtime resident of Staunton and Waynesboro, but originally from Highland County, Jeannie enjoys spending time with her granddaughters.
