There will be no Afton Express service this Friday, 7/4 in observance of the July Fourth holiday.
7/4: NO BRITE SERVICE EXCEPT TROLLEY
In observance of the July Fourth holiday there will be no BRITE services on Friday, 7/4 with the exception of the Staunton Downtown Trolley. The trolley will run its usual hours, from 10AM to 6PM.
Additionally, the Staunton Downtown Trolley will be detouring Friday due to the Fourth of July Parade and then for Dine Out in Downtown.
The trolley will not have access to Thornrose Ave, and instead will be traveling from Churchville Ave to Grubert Ave to Beverly St. Dine Out in Downtown street closures will go in effect following the parade, at which point the trolley will begin its typical Dine Out detour.

7/1: ROUTE CHANGES EFFECTIVE JULY 1
To increase areas served, there are route changes going into effect for the 250 Connector and the Waynesboro Circulator starting July 1. Route Change Details: 250 Connector:
- Service at Valley Community Services Board (VCSB) will increase from three times daily (8AM, 12PM, 5PM) to hourly service, with the last stop being at 4:55PM to align with VCSB hours.
- The West Main Plaza (Waynesboro Amazon Facility) stop will move to Bookerdale Road / West Main Street, and will now be served by the Waynesboro Circulator.
- The route path will change slightly and will travel via Lew Dewitt Boulevard and Bookerdale Road to West Main Street, instead of using Rosser Avenue. The Rosser Ave / Windigrove Dr stop will now be served by the Stuarts Draft Link. Additionally-

- Wayne Ave / 13th
- 11th / Maple Ave
- Jackson-Wilson Building (VPAS)

- Bookerdale Rd / W Main St
- W Main St / Carman Ave
