9/3: Afton Express Bus Stops Move (Fishersville and Staunton)
Bus Stop Relocation Notice: Beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the following Afton Express Bus Stops will change: The Staunton Mall bus stop will relocate to the Staunton Crossing Way Park and Ride Lot (210 Crossing Way, Staunton). The Fishersville Park and Ride stop located at the BRITE Transit Facility will relocate to Augusta Health. The stop will be located behind the Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic off Mule Academy Rd. The new times/stops are updated on the Afton Express website. Please call 540-943-9302 with any questions. See you at our new locations!
8/30: Lewis Street Hub Relocation!
Beginning Friday, August 30, the buses will no longer hub at the Temporary Hub on North Augusta Street. Buses will resume travel to the newly renovated Lewis Street Transit Hub.
5/28: NEW STOP – Fontaine Research Park
Due to the construction at Fontaine Research Park and the reduction in parking availability, UVA has partnered with Afton Express to provide service to Fontaine Research Park beginning, Tuesday, May 28. The stop will be located outside of 515 Ray C. Hunt Drive, and will be served by two Afton Express trips in the AM and two trips in the PM.

Effective Monday, May 6, 2024 to November 4, 2024, the Staunton Trolleys will operate the following hours:
- Staunton Downtown Trolley
- Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 9 PM
- Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM
- Saturday Night Trolley
- Saturday, 6 PM - 10 PM
